As we dive into the new year, Voices for Public Transit is looking back at the incredible achievements of our community last year. From honoring the 10th anniversary of VPT to making our voices heard to policymakers about the importance of public transportation investment, 2023 was a transformative year for public transit.
Check out our latest blog post, A Look Back at 2023: A Year in the Rearview, to learn more about our accomplishments last year and what’s to come in 2024. | This year will be an especially important time for Voices for Public Transit with a presidential election and several public transit-related measures on the ballot. From securing public transit investment in the FY24 THUD Appropriations bill to ensuring public transit investment from the IIJA makes its way to our communities, we’ll need to make our voices heard loud and clear to policymakers about the importance of public transit.
Thank you to all the Voices for Public Transit members whose unwavering commitment to public transportation makes everything that we do possible. All the impact that we have made is a result of your participation.
