New York schools are being used to house thousands of migrants, forcing our
children out of their classrooms and disrupting their education.

Because of Biden’s refusal to enforce our laws at the Border and New York’s
catastrophic sanctuary city policy, our communities are bearing the burden of
this crisis.

Families are struggling to replace the services and after-school activities
that have been shuttered to accommodate the growing number of migrants flooding
into our cities.

That’s why I took decisive action and introduced the Schools not Shelters Act
, which wouldprohibit the use of our schools to house migrants and
disincentivize local leaders from turning our communities into Sanctuary Cities.

I know I’m going to be aggressively attacked by my opponent and his army of
paid activists for introducing this commonsense solution to ease the burden on
our families.
