Greetings and Happy New Year!

We are excited to start the new year with our Call for Breakout Session proposals for the 2024 Facing Race Conference in St. Louis on November 20th-22nd, 2024. 

Facing Race is the nation’s largest multiracial, intergenerational racial justice conference, underscoring campaigns, projects, research, and art while promoting solutions to racial justice challenges. At Facing Race, attendees receive tools and knowledge to dismantle systemic racism in their communities.

This year, we welcome in-person proposals for engaging 90-minute breakout sessions. These sessions may include film screenings, panel discussions, hands-on art projects, or skill-building.

Exciting News: The Government Alliance on Race and Equity (GARE) will host its 2024 Annual Membership Meeting (AMM) on Wednesday, November 20 during Facing Race! Ticket sales for the joint AMM and Facing Race package will begin soon! For GARE members who want to lead a Facing Race breakout session, please use the application link to submit a proposal before the deadline.
