John,
The coronavirus emergency has finally given emergency paid sick leave to some Americans.
But limited stopgap measures aren’t enough. And mandating employers pay for sick leave won’t help if an employer shuts down.
That’s why I’m running for Congress in support of 12 weeks of paid family and medical leave, for EVERY worker, paid for the same way as unemployment insurance.
Fight for real, universal family and medical leave. Can you chip in $3 or more to my campaign ahead of the end-of-quarter deadline?
Sick Americans being forced into work because they can’t afford to stay home is a public health emergency.
The newly enacted coronavirus law is a start, but it’s not nearly enough. Big businesses over 500 employees are exempt. And small businesses, hit hard by coronavirus, will have a hard time affording it.
My campaign is living our values by providing our staff with paid sick leave.
That’s why I support the FAMILY Act, which provides UNIVERSAL paid family and sick leave, paid for by a government insurance program.
Fight for real, universal family and medical leave. Can you chip in $3 or more to my campaign ahead of the end-of-quarter deadline?
Thanks for standing up.
