PAP MPs: Iron out concerns about SimplyGo before full switch 

Land Transport Authority (LTA) has decided to extend the card-based ticketing (CBT) system for adult commuters, a move that came after the Government took in feedback and concerns from the ground and promptly moved to fix the issues.    

It would cost the government $40 million to enhance the existing CBT system which was reaching the end of life this year, and to maintain and operate the system thereafter.

The People's Action Party (PAP) Members of Parliament welcomed the move and called on the Government to enhance the account-based ticketing cards before the full switch. Read more.
