Dear A.,
Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant

told IDF soldiers in Gaza today that "Hamas is collapsing within its own tunnels." Gallant said over 100 Hamas terrorists have been killed in the last day and a half, as the IDF has expanded its operation deep into the western part of Khan Yunis.
"We will reach a point where we dismantle this organization. It will not control Gaza, and it will not have military force," he said.
America must continue to give our ally the time, diplomatic support, and resources it needs to complete its military objectives and win this war.

reportedly advanced a major new defense deal to strengthen Israel’s security. According to Israeli media reports, Israel plans to purchase new squadrons of 25 F-35 stealth fighters, 25 F-15 fighter jets, and 12 Apache helicopters.
Since October 7, the United States has delivered over 250 cargo planes and more than 20 ships to Israel, providing over 10,000 tons of weapons and equipment to help Israel defend its citizens.
Urge Senators to Oppose Van Hollen’s Dangerous Amendment
Senator Chris Van Hollen (D-MD) is pushing an amendment that adds new political conditions on vital security aid to Israel – undermining our ally at the exact moment when Congress needs to be standing stronger with Israel. Van Hollen’s legislation could prevent the U.S. from providing aid to Israel unless it meets new conditions, including cooperating with U.N. agencies that are often hostile toward Israel.
Urge your Senators to oppose this dangerous amendment.

"Either Qatar has leverage over Hamas or it doesn’t"
Speaking today on the Senate floor, Sen. Ted Budd called on Qatar to either facilitate the release of the hostages or kick Hamas out of the country. "This is personal for us Americans," he said. "I’ve met with families of the hostages…I’ve heard their stories, and I look at their photos every day on my desk…To the Qataris, I say this. Our patience has run out. Time is up. Either pressure Hamas leaders to release the hostages now, or expel them from your land. It’s that simple."

"Lives are on the line."
In a joint op-ed, Senator Joni Ernst (R-IA) and Congressman Donald Norcross (D-NJ) wrote about joining the first congressional delegation to Israel after October 7, their subsequent meetings with hostage families, and their commitment to bringing them home.
"We know that Congress has a critical role to play in rescuing Americans, which is why we are stepping up to provide bipartisan, bicameral action to bring them home," the members write. "Lives are on the line, and our citizens deserve the full force of action from their elected leaders to bring our American brothers and sisters home alive and healthy."
