Public Comment period extended through Monday, February* 26th*

To provide additional time for the public, Tribes, and agencies to review and comment on the Draft Environmental Impact Statement (DEIS) for the Comprehensive Plan, Kitsap County is extending the comment period for the DEIS until

*February 26th at 5:00 PM*.

These comments can be submitted via email to [email protected], through the comment portal on the webpage [ [link removed] ], or mailed to Kitsap County Comprehensive Plan, 614 Division Street MS-36, Port Orchard, WA 98366. The DEIS can be found here [ [link removed] ].

As a reminder, this comment period deadline of February 26th only applies to the DEIS. The comment period on the revised Comprehensive Plan, Capital Facilities Plan, and Development Regulations will remain open at least through the Board public hearing on April 8th. The comment period for many elements will run through the end of 2024. Please comment at the earliest opportunity to ensure full consideration throughout the update process.
