While the GOP fights tooth and nail to secure a national abortion ban, incredible Emerge alums are working to safeguard our rights instead.

Here's what they're up to!

In Ohio, Representative Emilia Sykes' work on ballot initiative Issue 1 has protected abortion rights and reproductive freedom. In Arizona, Governor Katie Hobbs & State Rep. Jen Langdon have worked to fight a Civil War-era abortion ban in their state. In South Carolina, Representative Heather Bauer changed the narrative by running on a pro-choice platform and winning her seat. In Oregon and Maryland respectively, State Representative Andrea Valderrama and Delegate Jheanelle Wilkins have shored up abortion rights as a prominent issue.

Heather Bauer changed the narrative in her home state of South Carolina by running on a pro-choice platform and winning her seat.

Andrea Valderrama, Oregon state representative, and Jheanelle Wilkins of Maryland have both shored up abortion rights as a prominent issue to be tackled in their respective states.
