Watt's Next for Energy Lecture by Dr. Seth Darling
350 Chicago recently hosted Argonne National Labs and University of Chicago professor Dr. Seth Darling for our Speaker Series. Dr. Darling is the Chief Science and Technology Officer of the Advanced Energy Technologies Directorate and a Senior Scientist in the Chemical Sciences and Engineering Division at the U.S. Dept. of Energy's Argonne National Laboratory. He is also a Senior Scientist with the Pritzker School of Molecular Engineering at the Univ. of Chicago.

In the presentation, Dr. Darling discussed the current and future transition from fossil fuels to a clean energy economy, providing a detailed explanation about the technologies, energy sources and timeline for making the transition. Climate Literacy Webinar by Dr Oziewicz and Dr. Kleese
In December of 2023, 350 Chicago welcomed Dr. Marek Oziewicz and Dr. Nick Kleese from the Center for Climate Literacy at the University of Minnesota. In the webinar, Drs. Oziewicz and Kleese shared a vision of transforming public education into a force to transition us to an ecologically sustainable civilization. They introduced climate literacy as a broad narrative competency available to all from a very early age.
