More colleges and universities in Texas appear to be finding creative ways to adhere to a new law that bans diversity, equity and inclusion offices — without fully getting rid of DEI in spirit, by switching out words, terms and renaming DEI offices!

VICTORY! 

Fort Worth ISD SHAC (School Health Advisory Council) voted by an overwhelming majority, Monday night, for the sex education curriculum parents and stakeholders agree is the best age appropriate, abstinence-based curriculum for their students!

Members of the Texas Values team were there for support and to provide comment. Official record of the vote is posted on our YouTube page. Attendees also included Texas House Representative Nate Schatzline, SBOE member Pat Hardy, and Texas House candidate Cheryl Bean.

The process is not completely over yet! There will be review meetings and an additional vote by the SHAC on February 5.
The Ft. Worth ISD Board of Trustees will give a final vote on which sex education programs will be used in schools.
