We hope you all are doing well,
The world is experiencing a global pandemic; you are likely caught in the middle of it. Our lives are in upheaval, but for most of us, we know we can make it through, as long as we rely on the strength of our community as a whole. Some of us may have compared this fear to how we feel surrounding the impending climate crisis and realized they are quite similar senses of dread (Our Co-Executive Director Jamie Margolin recently published an Op-Ed on this topic).
The emergency response to this pandemic shows that the world can react when we believe there is a real emergency; the quick global response to climate change that is necessary is also possible. Governments and people can work together and fight these crises. We hope this ray of optimism could brighten up this dark time.
There are two major impacts of this crisis on our actions. First, we postponed our planned #Vote4OurFuture bus tour from March 20-30. The tour is still planned to continue at a later date, but due to the shifting nature of the pandemic, this is still undecided. Second is a project that we will announce later today!
Stay tuned and stay healthy,
The Zero Hour family
