Now that we’re into the election year, we wanted to give you an update on our toss-up race to flip New York’s 19th District.

We have a strong foundation to build on. In 2022, this race was decided by a 1.6% margin, and this is one of just 18 Republican-held districts across the country that Joe Biden carried in 2020.

Our campaign is gaining momentum. We’ve outraised our opponent for three fundraising quarters in a row, making us just one of just four campaigns in the country to outraise an incumbent opponent last year.

This seat is flippable. Cook Political Report rated our race a “toss-up,” Daily Kos ranked our opponent as one of the “most vulnerable” House Republicans, and the National Journal listed us as one of the top 10 “most likely to flip” seats.
