A Special Tribute to Francis Collins, MD, PhD
In 1989, Francis Collins, MD, PhD, was a Howard Hughes Medical Institute Investigator at the University of Michigan when he helped discover the cystic fibrosis gene along with Lap-Chee Tsui and his colleagues from the Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto.
