With less than
six weeks until the primary election, and less than
two weeks until ballots are mailed out across California, here’s where things stand in our race to flip CA-27.
- CA-27 is considered a pure TOSS-UP race by political experts. Flipping this district from red to blue is critical for Democrats’ chances to win the House majority.
- Rep. Mike Garcia is losing support at a rapid rate. Garcia’s extreme positions – like his vote in favor of a national abortion ban – prove he’s out of touch with our district. His approval rating in CA-27 has plummeted by nearly 10%!
- The momentum is on our side. Our list of endorsers is growing, and includes leaders like Rep. Adam Schiff and former Speaker Nancy Pelosi. We’ve also been endorsed by local labor organizations like SEIU and the International Association of Fire Fighters (IAFF).
We set a goal of raising $20,000 before January comes to a close to fund our voter outreach efforts, billboards, yard signs and more. But with just days to go, we’re falling a bit short. Can I count on you to chip in $3 to help us pick up the pace?
