I’m tired of watching our Democracy suffer under GOP leadership. Last week Democrats had to vote yet again to keep the government’s lights on because the Majority won’t come to a consensus. 

 

Unlike Republicans, Democrats know how to govern for the benefit of the American people. Under a Democratic majority, Congress enacted the American Rescue Plan, the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law, the Inflation Reduction Act, the Chips and Science Act, the PACT Act, and the Bipartisan Safer Communities Act (the first gun violence prevention law in decades!). All of these laws are moving our nation forward despite the chaos coming out of Republicans in Congress. 

 

That is why I wanted to reach out today. 2024 is an election year. We need to re-elect Democrats like Congressman Scott, and make sure we take back control of the U.S. House and keep the U.S. Senate, otherwise there will be consequences.
