Friend, did you know that there have already been 25 mass shootings in 2024? On average, more than 100 Americans die from gun violence every single day.

This is the greatest moral failing of our time, friend. 

I know the toll that this horrific violence takes on a family. When I was 24, my father was killed in an act of gun violence. Getting that news was the worst phone call of my life. But I was determined to channel my grief and pain into action.

Ever since then, I've fought to protect our communities from gun violence. In Congress, I pushed for commonsense reforms that would keep guns away from dangerous individuals.

After leaving Congress, I teamed up with Gabby Giffords to lead her gun safety advocacy work here in Florida and across the country. It was an honor to work so closely with Gabby, meeting so many survivors of gun violence, hearing their stories, holding our lawmakers accountable, and fighting for change.

Now, I'm running for Senate to defeat Rick Scott, one of the gun lobby's biggest allies, and finally pass the common-sense reforms that families are counting on. Experts say this race will be one of the most competitive elections this November, but I need your help to take on Scott's massive fortune.
