Have you been following what's happening in Texas, John?

Joe Biden has abandoned his basic Constitutional duty to enforce our immigration laws and protect Texas from the invasion at its southern border...

... so Texas Gov. Greg Abbott is claiming the state's Constitutional right in Article I, § 10, Clause 3 to self-defense.

What does that mean? Texas is giving state National Guard and other personnel the power to defy federal authorities and secure the border themselves ... and as of this morning a dozen other states are standing with them.

The Democrats and the Media may be having a meltdown ... but I want you to know that I am 100% standing with Texas!

I talk a lot about the need for bold and urgent leadership. Governor Abbott is showing what's possible when Republicans actually stand up, stick our necks out, and LEAD!

Look - it's undeniable that Joe Biden is violating his oath to keep our country safe. Millions of illegal immigrants, many of them suspected terrorists and drug traffickers, have entered our country under his watch.

If Joe Biden won't secure our country, then Republicans need to step up and do it ourselves. Sitting around and waiting for something to happen simply isn't an option anymore.

I'm fired up by what's happening in Texas. I plan to bring more Texas-style leadership to Washington!
