Don't insure projects that destroy our planet! That's the message we're taking to insurers for a full week of actions from Monday 26th February to Sunday 3rd March. Actions will take place in the City of London and across the UK, as part of the global week of action.

Why insurers? They are gatekeepers. Without insurance, fossil fuel projects cannot happen. Changing the insurance industry is one of the most strategic, powerful and underused ways to tackle the climate crisis.

Targeting insurers works. We know it can work because it already has! So many global insurers have publicly ruled out insuring the East African Crude Oil Pipeline that it's been left stuck in planning limbo for four years. Many insurers have already stopped backing climate wrecking projects - this action will target those that are still enabling them.
