Did you get Tina’s message yesterday, friend?
She asked supporters like you to chip in whatever you can afford to support an organization on the front lines of the coronavirus pandemic.
Second Harvest Heartland is providing food to those most affected by this public health emergency and making sure no one goes hungry — and they could really use our help today.
If you can, please consider adding a donation of $10 or whatever amount is meaningful to you to support Second Harvest Heartland today. Then, continue reading below for Tina’s message.

Friends —
As the coronavirus continues to spread, so many families are facing immeasurable hardships. On top of trying to stay safe and healthy, folks across the country are wondering how they’re going to put food on the table as more and more people lose their jobs or get sent home without pay.
It’s an untenable position to be in, but I want you to know that I’m with you. I understand what you’re going through and I’m working my tail off in the Senate to make sure families like yours receive the assistance they deserve right now.
In the meantime, Second Harvest Heartland is working their tails off, too. They’re one of the nation’s largest hunger-relief organizations fighting around the clock to ensure no Minnesota family goes hungry during this crisis.
If there’s anything I know about this incredible grassroots team, it's our willingness to lend a helping hand — especially when it matters most. And I’m emailing you now because this is when it matters most.
If you have anything to spare, can I count on you to add a donation to Second Harvest Heartland today? Even just a few bucks will make an immediate difference in someone’s life. I can’t stress enough how important this is.

Please, only give if you can afford to do so. I know these are troubling and uncertain times for many of us, so if your family is facing financial hardship, it’s okay to sit this one out. I appreciate you opening this email more than you’ll ever know.
Thank you — and look out for yourself and your loved ones.
Tina
