Governor Kelly Announces
Administration Appointments
TOPEKA – Today, Governor Laura Kelly announced 4 appointments and 1 reappointment to the following state boards and commissions.
Kansas Propane Education and Research Council
Purpose: To enhance propane safety, education, and training for propane consumers and employees; to improve existing propane technology; to increase the efficiency of propane; and to develop other programs to educate the public about the safety, environmental aspects, and uses of propane.

- Brad Thompson, Hutchinson
- John Jacobsen, Andover (reappointment)
Statewide Independent Living Council of Kansas
Purpose: To develop a State Plan through external input, which ensures independent living for Kansans, advocate for the accomplishment of the State Plan objectives, monitor, review, and evaluate the implementation of the plan, and be a statewide catalyst for independent living.
