As the world responds to the coronavirus pandemic, I hope you're staying healthy, active, and safe. None of us can tackle this challenge alone – so even as we practice social distancing, we must find ways to stay connected with each other.
Music is an incredible way for the global community to come together right now – and
we're excited to share that a fantastic group of musicians is throwing an online concert to benefit our COVID-19 response efforts TOMORROW. You're invited!
Mark your calendar for Sunday at 6pm Eastern to join us for this concert. If you follow @ilovelucius on Instagram, you'll be reminded when it's time to join.
When you tune in on Instagram Live to join the concert, you'll be treated to a special musical performance from Courtney Barnett and Lucius, live from their living rooms. What's more, you'll also get exclusive remote performances from their friends: Sheryl Crow, Fred Armisen, Lukas Nelson, Nathaniel Rateliff, Sharon Van Etten and more.
This benefit concert couldn't come at a more important time. Oxfam's teams are on the ground now around the world, providing advice and support tailored to local languages and customs to slow the spread of COVID-19. We're working with longstanding local partners by increasing the delivery of soap, sanitation services, and clean water to people in higher-risk environments and educating communities on the importance of proper handwashing and other practices to stay healthy.
If you want to join these musicians in helping fight this pandemic, please donate today. Funds go directly to help poor communities around the world respond to COVID-19 >>
See you at the concert!
