We’re excited to announce the 2024 Respect Awards!

Get ready for our biggest community event on the East Coast, the Respect Awards! Join us on Monday, April 29th in the heart of New York City at the iconic Gotham Hall for a special evening celebrating some of GLSEN’s fiercest champions. Guests will gather for a cocktail reception followed by dinner and awards program where we’ll recognize the allied organizations and individuals committed to GLSEN’s mission to make schools safe and inclusive for LGBTQ+ students across the nation. 

The Respect Awards also features GLSEN’s annual Student Advocate of the Year Award, which recognizes one student committed to creating an environment free of harassment and bullying for all K-12 students. The evening caps off with mixing and mingling at a dessert reception.

All proceeds from the Respect Awards fuel GLSEN’s mission to ensure a safe, supportive, and LGBTQ+-inclusive K-12 education for all students. Special guests and honorees to be announced!
