John,
I hate doing this.
I am loving every aspect of this campaign so far. I love talking about the issues. I love talking about my plans to move our community forward. I love getting out and meeting you and hearing what you want from our Government.
But the one part of campaigning that I can’t stand is asking for money. I’m running to serve and support you, not the other way around.
I’m tired of asking for money every day. It’s not a fun thing to do.
When I get DC, the first thing I will seek to accomplish is campaign finance reform. Our current system is broken and allows for rampant corruption and gives special interests and the powerful a leg up.
Sadly, raising money is a necessity in our current political system. In order to win, we need to be able to buy ad time, send mailers, and spread word about our campaign. And that takes money.
This is a very tight race, and we can’t afford to fall behind on fundraising.
We’re running against Rep. Max Miller, a former Trump aide who has DJT’s full support. We need strong fundraising to get ahead in this race. If you could donate anything you can spare to our campaign, it would be greatly appreciated.
