The starting salary is ?19,171 (Level One) rising to ?19,945 (Level Two) on the first year anniversary, subject to satisfactory completion of a probationary period (pro rata for part time workers).

Nottingham is in a dynamic and popular city which is in an area of high housing demand, with a high percentage of privately rented houses many of which are not adequately maintained. We are determined to continue to improve the private rented sector in Nottingham, to reduce anti-social behaviour and drive up housing conditions. The council has been successful in attracting rouge landlord funding on 2 occasions and already has an Additional Licensing scheme in place.

We are looking for friendly, helpful and hardworking candidates who are highly organised and have excellent attention to detail. Good communication skills are essential along with confidence in using IT. You should possess good work ethics, be a team player, flexible and can adapt to change.
?
This role will help support the Selective Licensing Team by ensuring the efficient and effective administration of the licensing process. You will ensure licence applications are received, processed and are ready for further decision making and issuing of documents to licence holders, ensuring compliance with legal processes.
