John,
President Biden has sent $250 million worth of artillery shells and other weapons to Israel in recent weeks. The United States has sent Netanyahu billions of dollars. The U.S. government has watched as Israel’s war in Gaza has killed over 25,000 people.
Now, Netanyahu admits as Israel continues to bomb the Palestinian people that he’s restricting humanitarian aid in Gaza. This war is brutal in every way possible, and there’s no excuse for continued U.S. support for Israel’s horrific policies.
Bernie is going all out to oppose more funding for Israel’s war. We must join him and say no more funding, no more weapons, and no more restrictions on humanitarian aid.
Add your name: The Palestinian people are suffering while Congress considers more aid for Netanyahu’s bombing campaigns. Stop the funding, stop the weapons shipments, and press for the free flow of humanitarian aid.
Last week, Bernie forced a vote in the Senate on an investigation into Israeli human rights abuses that could’ve halted U.S. funding to Israel. But the Senate voted it down.
In his efforts, Bernie did not hold back on the reality of what the U.S. is backing in Israel, saying, “The military campaign being waged by the right-wing Netanyahu government has led to massive destruction and widespread civilian harm. This has been, far and away, the most intensive bombing campaign of the 21st century.”
Calls for a permanent ceasefire have grown since the start of this war, with Peace champions like Barbara Lee, Rashida Tlaib, and Bernie Sanders leading the way. But at the same time, President Biden made the unilateral decision to send more ammunition to fuel Netanyahu’s war and Congress may be on the verge of passing a spending bill that gives Israel another $10 billion. All to a murderous regime that now admits to restricting food, water, and medical support the people of Gaza need.
We must ensure there’s a coalition in Congress ready to say NO to more war funding for Israel.
Will you add your name to stand with Bernie and urge Congress to oppose all support for Israel’s brutal war and restrictions of aid in Gaza?
When we organize, we win.
