 New Hampshire Heads to the Polls

New Hampshire voters 
go to the polls today

 in what has suddenly become a two-person election in the Republican primary between Donald Trump and Nikki Haley, now that Gov. Ron DeSantis has dropped out.
 

Trump leads in the latest polls by 19 points, and 
Haley’s main hope

 is for a large turnout of independents and a small one for Republicans. The state election office is projecting a record-setting 322,000 voters will show up.
 

On the Democratic side, President Biden isn’t on the ballot, but analysts will be watching closely to see if he gets a strong write-in vote against challenger Rep. Dean Phillips.
 

Last night, Nikki Haley 
swept the traditional voting

 at Dixville Notch, a tiny resort town that's been recording its results at midnight for 64 years. Haley grabbed all six votes.

 FDA Approves New Therapy for Cancer

Strand Therapeutics, a biotech firm specializing in mRNA technology, 
won approval

 from the Food and Drug Administration Monday to begin human testing on a new cancer-fighting therapy.
 

The new treatment could represent a breakthrough immunotherapy for treating solid tumors. The therapy uses 
self-replicating, programmable RNA

 that can precisely target and terminate cancerous cells.
 

This marks the
first time a programmable

 form of mRNA will be tested on humans. Researchers expect the first round of testing to begin this spring.

 Gallup: Trust in Ethics Drops to New Lows

A new Gallup survey shows that Americans’ view of the ethics and honesty of nearly all professions is 
down significantly from 2019

Highest on the list were nurses, veterinarians, engineers, and dentists. The lowest were politicians, car salesmen, marketers, and stockbrokers, with less than 10% believing in their ethics.
