Even as Trump’s eligibility status is up for debate across the country, after the first primary events, he is closer to his goal of gaining the Republican nomination. And his rhetoric about dictatorships and January 6 is scary.
He means what he says.
Trump and Republicans have and will continue to attack the very foundations of our democracy. It’s up to us to rise up and stop them.
The January 6th insurrection anniversary was earlier in the month. Three years ago, Trump incited that devastating day at the U.S. Capitol. He still refuses to accept any accountability for his actions.
There’s no telling what Trump will do next to undermine the will of the American people. That’s why we must be prepared for attacks against our elections in the run up to November.
