Dear Free Software Supporter,

First, generous supporters offered to triple every donation in a matching
campaign and the community helped us meet that [matching challenge][1],
and now free software supporters like you helped us reach our [stretch
goal][2] of $425,000! The support we received truly boosts the FSF's
[advocacy for free software in education education][3] and our efforts
to educate everybody on the importance of free software.

Now that the fundraiser is officially over, let's take a moment
to highlight a few things we did during this time. We started by
publishing the [Giving Guide][4] and the fall [*Bulletin*][5]. We
organized an [FSF community meetup][6] and the [International Day
Against DRM][7]. In addition, we [visited Everett High School][8] and
talked with approximately sixty cybersecurity and robotics students
about free software. And last but not least, the [tech team][9] and
the [licensing team][10] reported about the work they did during the
last six months, and about their plans for 2024.

A big thank you to the 2905 people who [donated][11] during this
fundraiser, [joined][12] as FSF associate members, or [renewed][13]
their membership. Your support helps us to promote and advance
computer user freedom around the world! We look forward to a
brilliant 2024 with you!

We would love to see you at [LibrePlanet 2024][14]. We count the days
until the conference starts on May 4. We already announced two keynote
speakers: [Hayley Tsukayama][15], associate director of legislative
activism at the Electronic Frontier Foundation, and free software
developer and video creator [David Wilson][16]. If you haven't registered
yet, please do so to help us prepare and to receive all the information.
