John,
I hope you’re doing okay during this very uncertain time. Our campaign team is all working remotely and we’ve been working to master the video-chat-meeting.
It’s no secret: these are very uncertain times.
And in these uncertain times, we need principled leadership from elected officials who will analyze scientific facts, listen to the needs of their communities, and formulate solutions to the biggest challenges we face.
That’s why I am so thankful to work for Abigail right now.
Whether she’s in Washington working across the aisle, or in the district holding town hall meetings (or these days, tele-town halls) her leadership is crucial to the unprecedented moment we’re in right now.
We’ve made a number of changes in these recent days, including canceling all of our in-person fundraising and volunteer events. The safety and health of our staff and volunteers is our number one priority, so we're being creative and developing new ways to engage our neighbors and share all of Abigail's hard work.
John, these are difficult times. While everything is shutting down, our campaign is still going. If you can make a contribution to our ongoing efforts, we would sincerely appreciate it.
