Hi John,

Election year is upon us, and the MAGA Republican Party couldn’t make it more clear how important it is that we retake our Democratic House majority this November.

Last year was the most unproductive Congress in a generation. Because of concessions to extreme MAGA members of Congress, the Republican Party could scarcely agree on their House Speaker(s), let alone actually do the work and govern. They failed to do their job and failed the American people.

This utter failure of a Congress comes right off the heels of one of the most productive sessions in Congress when Democrats held the majority.

Under Democratic leadership, we made historic investments to address the climate crisis and crumbling infrastructure, passed marriage equality, cut childhood poverty in half, saved our economy after a global pandemic, and so much more.

Right here in Washington State, we’re still reaping the benefits of the Inflation Reduction Act and the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law. This month, I was proud to announce the $41 million investment in EV charging stations across our communities to meet our climate goals and ensure a greener future for our state.

But, our work is not complete. That’s why I’m fiercely committed as the DCCC Chair to retake our Democratic majority so we can continue to build on our historic progress and address the multiple crises we face as a nation. With housing, multiple international conflicts, climate change, and MAGA threats to our democracy — electing leaders committed to finding solutions has never been more urgent.

I will continue to stand up and fight for progress for Washingtonians and all Americans. Thank you for standing with me.
