John,
We’re thrilled to invite you to our seventh annual Sister District Summit held virtually on Saturday, March 9 — featuring a special fireside chat with Mandela Barnes!
Mandela Barnes is the 45th Lt. Governor of Wisconsin – the state’s second-ever Black statewide elected official and first-ever Black Lt. Governor. He started his career as an organizer, served in the Wisconsin legislature, and ran a record-breaking U.S. Senate campaign, where he came one point away from unseating a two-term incumbent in Wisconsin’s closest Senate election in 100 years.
We couldn’t be more excited to share space with Mandela and our Sister District community on March 9. Register for free today to join us virtually — or continue reading to learn more.
This special one-day event is a powerful opportunity to get connected with our staff and other members of our community, hear about our strategy for upcoming elections, and learn best practices and skills on effective organizing, fundraising, and leadership.
Here’s a preview of what’s on the agenda:
- State of Sister District and 2024-2025 Strategy
- Youth Panel on How to Engage with Youth Organizers and Recruit Younger Members
Organizing Workshops on New Donor Engagement and Escalation, Sustainability in Activism and Recruitment, Leadership Succession Planning, and Digital Organizing in a Presidential Year
- Keynote Fireside Chat with former Wisconsin Lt. Governor Mandela Barnes
The Sister District Summit only comes once a year — so don’t miss out! Register now.
Hope to see you there, and stay tuned for more details!
