Hi John, this recent headline about the GOP’s accomplishments (or lack thereof) while they control the House majority speaks for itself. Before we get into it, will you contribute to Andrei’s campaign to help us beat ineffective Republicans and turn AZ-01 blue?

Republicans in Congress are more focused on playing politics, dividing Americans, and delivering for their corporate benefactors than actually delivering for Americans. There’s no better or more extreme example of this than Andrei’s Republican opponent, David Schweikert.

David Schweikert voted against the PACT Act for veterans’ health care even while Ted Cruz and Matt Gaetz voted “yes.” He is fighting for a national, no-exception ban on women’s reproductive freedom and rights. And he has even vowed to defund the FBI because he claims they’re too mean to Donald Trump. Arizonans deserve better than an extreme and ineffective Congressperson who is one of the minority of even House Republicans willing to shut down our government to prove a political point.

Democrats only need to pick up five House seats to take back control. Cook Political Report, Roll Call, and Punchbowl News all agree that AZ-01 is a toss-up race to watch, so if we keep our momentum, we can win and get David Schweikert out of Congress.
