Assemblywoman Pilar Schiavo (AD40) and I spent our weekend canvassing. Going door to door about this campaign is a great way to spread the word – and I’m grateful for the dozens of volunteers who have joined us along the way.

 
I’m proud to share recent endorsements by the Valley Grassroots for Democracy Club, IAFF Firefighters, and the Carpenters. Working together is crucial for bringing about the positive change CA-27 needs.
   
Over MLK Day weekend, I made it a priority to serve the community. I marched with SEIU 2015 at the annual MLK Day parade and joined the SCV Dems MLK Day of Service food drive in Newhall to support local food banks.
   
I’m inspired by the people I meet every day on the campaign trail. And I’m honored to receive such diverse support from representatives, organizations, and community leaders alike as we continue our movement to defeat far-right Rep. Mike Garcia.
