Dear Friend,
Clean water, basic medicines, medical care and other things you and I may take for granted make a life-or-death difference for people like Cassandra, a 26-year-old mother of four in Haiti.
Because of Haiti's many compounding crises -- earthquakes, flooding, instability and violence -- families are facing a dire lack of food and a resurgence of deadly cholera. Babies like Sami, Cassandra's youngest child, are among the most vulnerable to cholera and similar infections. To help Cassandra protect Sami and her other children, Project HOPE provided buckets and faucets for handwashing, soap, water purification tablets and other aid.
