It’s finally 2024, John.

With the momentum we’ve been building over the past year and an election ahead of us, we know this year is the year we’ll bring care to the forefront, educating voters and those who seek to represent us.

Let’s get to it – here’s our 2024 plan: We’re continuing to build out this care movement by bringing new care activists into the fold and organizing opportunities for us to show the need for care supports and the power we hold to make that happen. We are the majority in this country – and it’s about time our leaders recognize that.

We’re going to win big and make significant advances on state policy work across paid leave, child care, and aging and disability care. We’ve already started – with our Georgia Roundtable last weekend, we brought together elected leaders and champions of care for a frank conversation about how the state can bring about policy changes so everyone has access to care.

A group of care advocates and local elected officials speak at the Georgia Care Roundtable. Text above them reads, 'In 2024... Let's spark the conversation on care.' [[link removed]]

And we won’t stop there – we’re going to pave the way for transformational policy solutions on the federal level in 2024 and beyond. We’ll continue spreading the word so people across the country understand why care is important and why we need better policies for paid leave, child care, and aging and disability care. We’re working to make sure care is at the forefront of the conversation this election cycle.

But we can’t do any of this without supporters like you, John. Every time you sign a petition, send a letter to a legislator, post on social media, or make a donation, it helps move the needle toward better care systems for all of us.

So stay tuned, John, for ways to continue advancing this care movement – we’re going to continue this fight, and we need you here with us.

Thanks for everything you do.
