*NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING*

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, by the Board of County Commissioners of Island County, Washington, that they have set February 6, 2024, at 10:00 a.m., in the Island County Board of County Commissioners Hearing Room (Room #102B), located in the Island County Annex Building, 1 NE 7th Street, Coupeville, Washington, as the time and place for a public hearing in the matter of:

Adopting and transmitting the revised amendments to Chapters 17.03 and 17.05A of Island County Code, Element 3 of the Comprehensive Plan, and the Shoreline Environmental Designation map to the Washington Department of Ecology for review and approval, as part of the periodic update of the Island County Shoreline Master Program in accordance with the optional joint review process of WAC 173-26-104.

 Interested persons may appear at the public hearing and give testimony for or against the proposed updates. The Board will be accepting testimony concerning the proposed updates from interested persons via telephone or video.
