This afternoon I joined supporters and leaders in Duluth to officially announce that I'm running for Congress.

I’m ready to make progress for working families across our district, to lead with hard work and decency, and to fight against attacks on our democracy, on women’s healthcare, and on our shared future as Minnesotans and Americans.

In short, I’m running for Congress because our community deserves better.

But I can’t do it alone. Yesterday, we set out to receive 100 donations from supporters like you to show our grassroots strength in numbers. We only need XX donations to reach our Launch Day Goal – can I count on you to chip in?

The gridlock, the attacks on women’s healthcare, and the threat to our democracy from extreme Republicans are a complete disgrace. Pete Stauber has only contributed to the dysfunction and division.

Instead of bringing people together, Pete Stauber has embraced the D.C. circus, kissing the ring of Donald Trump even as he faces over 90 felony charges across multiple criminal cases.

We deserve a better leader – and I know I can be that leader for you and our entire community. As your Congresswoman, I will work tirelessly for you.

But I can’t win this race alone. We’re building a strong grassroots team that’s ready to get in the trenches and fight hard to defeat MAGA Republican Pete Stauber this November and restore dignity, civility and efficacy to Congress.
