Below is a roundup of recent news, including an important update about a recent ethics complaint against attorney Jenna Ellis.
Ethics Complaint Update: We've received word from the Colorado Bar that, on January 9, 2024, the Office of Attorney Regulation Counsel filed a formal complaint against Jenna Ellis, seeking appropriate sanctions for the felony conduct to which Ms. Ellis pled guilty in Georgia. The complaint follows on the heels of the recent joint letter by LDAD and States United Democracy Center requesting that the Bar seek sanctions, including disbarment, following her conviction in Georgia. This is a significant step towards ensuring accountability within the legal community for unethical conduct related to the 2020 election. To review our call for Ms. Ellis's disbarment, click here.
