John, we have some important information for you. Drumroll please!
Our 600+ volunteer base is mobilizing to make calls to elders across the district, to identify their needs in this time, and find ways #TeamCori can help. In the meantime, we’ve finalized our COVID-19 outreach strategy. We know exactly who we need to reach in this district, where they are, and how to reach them. We have a multi-pronged approach planned to reach these voter demographics using methods that are actually relevant to them.
If we bought all the literature, tech, and resources we require to execute our entire strategy right now, we would need almost $50,000. So while we ramp up our fundraising game, we’re focusing on digital ads and mailers to reach those voters we’re counting on to expand our electorate this cycle. This is where you come in: we urgently need to raise $27,360 in less than two weeks. It’s a lot, but it’s achievable.
There are many of us who are feeling the financial impact of the COVID-19 crisis, and if you are one of those people, this appeal is not for you.

These funds will allow us to continue engaging and empowering our most important voting blocs. These are folks who:
A.) Didn’t get a chance to meet Cori and hear about her platform in 2018, when we had significantly less money on hand. Many of these voters mistakenly believed Cori Bush was a white man related to George Bush!
B.) Are currently unregistered, uninspired by our current political leadership, and generally dissatisfied with the state of affairs in St. Louis.
To be frank, operating without in-person events, canvasses, and fundraisers means we have to turn to vital but more expensive alternatives. The road to victory won’t be cheap, but this election is more than a simple choice between Cori and the incumbent. It is an investment in a world where all residents of St. Louis are empowered to vote, participate in the democratic process, and make their needs known in the halls of Congress. Invest in our future today!
