I wanted to take a moment to thank you for your continued support of my campaign
for Congress.  

It’s a new year – the year we can make John James a one-term Congressman – but
the same continued effort to cover every corner of our district, getting to know
folks more personally. And it’s clear that every day, our supporters grow in
numbers after hearing what this campaign is all about.

I will continue hitting the ground to deliver the change we deserve, and I hope
I get the chance to see you too, but until then, here are a few highlights from
the campaign trail.

I had a blast hanging out with my friends at Painters District Council 1M in
support of Mai Xiong! Mai is an inspiration and her story is the embodiment of
the American Dream. I cannot think of anyone better to represent us in Lansing,
and I look forward to helping more Michiganders reach the American Dream in
Congress.

I had an awesome time celebrating the memory of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. at
the Macomb County Ministerial Alliance 2024 MLK Breakfast! I was incredibly
moved by Bishop Edgar Vann II words as he spoke about Dr. King's famous speech
and how the time for dreaming is over, and the time for action is NOW! I am
fired up! Are you?

I attended Warren’s Martin Luther King Day event hosted by Mayor Lori Stone and
my friend Jocelyn Howard! This day always continues to be a strong reminder that
we are all called to action against injustice. We have made so much progress
here in Warren in recent months, but our job is not done.

And I had a great time at the Macomb and Oakland County Building Trades holiday
parties! Thank you to everyone in the building trades that successfully lobbied
for $55 million in state funding for revitalization projects. Growing up in a
union household, I will always fight alongside you, and I will always be
#UnionStrong.

I couldn’t be more grateful for everyone who has joined our movement – but as we
reach the end of the first month of our election year, we’re only beginning to
grow the movement we need to flip this seat.

We need to keep the momentum going through the end of the year, and I’m relying
on grassroots donors like yourself to keep this campaign going strong.
