I hope you received my last email. You are critical to the Movement, so I want to make sure you have a chance to honor Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. and help us continue to help Black Americans “achieve the dream.” The National Urban League Movement dreams of a day when every individual has an equal opportunity for education, healthcare, housing, and justice.

We are just as impassioned now as we were when we helped organize the 1963 March on Washington for Jobs and Freedom. It is our honor to continue the work of the late, great Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. this year and beyond. I hope it is your honor too.

Dr. King never gave up hope of an equal and equitable America. We have that hope too, and fight every day to make it a reality—and we need your help. Please honor and remember Dr. King’s legacy by making a gift today. 

Your gifts have an incredible impact— and I cannot thank you enough for your support and generosity. You drive change like this, made over the past decade: 

✓ 2,000,000 people were trained and placed in jobs. Many would become permanent hires and receive a good wage and benefits.  
 
✓ 140,000 Black entrepreneurs received help to start a business. And then these businesses went on to employ people in Black communities.  
 
✓ 21,000 families became homeowners, most for the first time. Homeownership is key to creating generational wealth. 
 
✓ 8 million people were given opportunities to achieve better health necessary for a long and productive life.  
 
The National Urban League needs your support now more than ever as we work to transform the passion of this movement into lasting change.
