Here’s the reality: Donald Trump will almost certainly win the GOP presidential primary, and every indication is that it will be an extremely tough fight to stop him from flipping Minnesota red in November.

Recent polls already show Trump in a statistical tie with President Biden in Minnesota, and the Trump campaign is openly targeting us as one of its key “battlegrounds.”

Governor Walz is doing everything he can to sound the alarm, including leading the Democratic Governors Association in the national fight against Trumpism, but none of his work is possible unless we’re there to support him.

That’s why I’m reaching out this morning. Our first end-of-month fundraising deadline of this critical election year is exactly one week away, and after several slow fundraising weeks online, we’ve fallen behind our budget target.
