Guess what? Last election, we did something amazing – we got Summer Lee
elected as Pennsylvania's first Black congresswoman! That's huge for us
and for anyone who's all about racial justice and real democracy.

But let's talk real for a sec: candidates like Summer, coming from
working-class backgrounds and places like Braddock, PA, don't get the same
funding love. Why? Well, they usually don't have those wealthy boy’s club
billionaire friends that other candidates have.

Did you know Black women typically raise just about a third of what their
white counterparts do? That means less cash for ads, chatting with voters,
and all that campaign jazz. And that's not even counting the heaps of
money our opponents throw into nasty, racist, untrue attacks.
