The NYT “discovers” Claremont’s leadership of the fight against DEI

BREAKING NEWS

New York Times Highlights Claremont Institute as Mastermind of the Anti-D.E.I. Movement

About three days ago, taking up half the front page above the fold, The New York Times ran a lengthy investigative piece titled “‘America is Under Attack’: Inside the Anti-DEI Crusade.” The subject was the Claremont Institute’s role as both strategic mastermind and foremost leader in the effort to eliminate DEI in higher education across the county.

It seems that word has gotten out. By now it’s no secret that we led the charge to rid the Florida and Texas education systems of DEI pledges and other racist policies, curricula, and infrastructure. We’ve made enormous progress toward those goals, with more to come. We are now working in a dozen other states (and certain colleges and universities) toward the same purpose. A project to curb pernicious DEI policies in our armed forces is also underway.

To learn more about what Claremont has coming up on its horizon, read our recent piece ([link removed] ) on “Why America’s ‘Anti-Discrimination Regime Needs to be Dismantled” over at The American Mind.

And while we’ve never been shy about touting our successes, it seems our detractors are still waking up to the extent of our influence. As the Times wrote, Claremont is the “nexus” responsible for the “playbook and the thinking” of an “anti-DEI movement.”

It took the Times obtaining communications through a public records request of non-Claremont emails to realize the extent of our “sweeping ambition” to “strike a killing blow against ‘the leftist social justice revolution’” by eliminating “social justice education from American schools.”

But the Times need not have bothered with all the clandestine snooping. We aren’t exactly shy about what we’re doing to save America.

As Rep. Jim Banks said when he read the story, “@nytimes just figured out what we already knew … @ClaremonInst is leading the fight against radical, anti-American DEI and I’m proud to stand with them!”

Thank you, Congressman Banks, and a hearty “thank you” to all our supporters. Without your generous donations, our work could not continue.
