My name is David McMillan, and I’m Adam Schiff’s Little Brother.

Adam’s campaign is releasing an ad on TV this week that gives me the
opportunity to tell millions of undecided California voters about my Big
Brother, and how he’ll fight for us in the U.S. Senate.

[ [link removed] ]With just a few weeks left in the U.S. Senate primary, will you chip in

Now, I hope you’ll allow me a few moments to talk about my relationship
with Adam and what’s at stake in this election.

When I was five years old, my mother took me to the Big Brothers of
Greater Los Angeles office in Los Angeles and helped me fill out an
application. After waiting two years to hear back, I was lucky enough to
meet Adam, who had just moved to LA.

Adam and I paired up for a day, a kind of trial run, and Adam brought me
to the beach in Venice where he was living at the time. After an afternoon
battling the crashing waves and having a blast, we dubbed ourselves The
Survivors. It was an incredible day and the start of one of the most
important relationships in my life.

After being on a waiting list, I finally had a Big Brother.

Adam has been an important part of my life since that day on the beach —
he was with me when I graduated from Yale, and I was with him when he
married his wife, Eve. We have a similar sense of humor, and we both have
a big appreciation for film (which is why I’m now a TV writer and why Adam
always quotes The Big Lebowski).

I might be biased, but I know that Adam will make us proud as California’s
next Senator.

We’ve seen it in the work he’s done over the years. From writing
California’s patient bill of rights to protecting our rule of law from
Trump, Adam puts in the work to make a difference and make our state a
better place for everyone.

Adam is the kind of person we need more of in the Senate. Someone who will
always fight to do the right thing — even if it’s not always the easy
thing.
