On Monday I had the privilege of attending the MCCL March for life in St. Paul. I believe this might be the biggest crowd yet. There were many State Legislators. And I even had a chance to talk to Congresswoman Michelle Fischbach.

There are clearly many upset Minnesotans. In 2023 the Democrat controlled legislature passed what are deemed the most liberal abortion laws in the world. We are now on par with China. New laws go so far as refusing to give care to babies born alive and abortion without regard to fetal viability, up to 40 weeks gestation.

Doubling down on this past years legislation, Democrats appear poised to bring forth an amendment to place these extreme laws into the Minnesota constitution. As well as reviving their assisted suicide attempts. When these laws have been passed in other countries, they include people suffering from depression and the disabled, among others. The majority party seems to be consumed in a culture of death.

Until we can get these barbaric policies reversed, it is imperative we boldly proclaim our prolife views. Teach our children to respect the sanctity of life from conception to natural death. Encourage those contemplating abortion to seek alternatives. And offer help to those who have gone through this painful procedure.
