Hey ,
Have you ever carried your AR for long periods?
Climbing over, or under, fallen trees, up and down steep hills, sludging through knee-deep mud that tries to suck your boots off your feet with every step?
I can tell you, that is exactly what a buddy of mine recently did.
After 30 minutes or so, his arms were starting to give in, to what started out as a light weapon.
Like one of those old schoolteacher tortures where you must stand with your arms out straight to the sides for hours!
You see, we were out for a bit of deer stalking.
It took a while to get on the buck’s trail and, after 2 agonizing hours, we had the shot.
The only problem was my buddy’s arms couldn’t lift and hold steady his rifle to take it.
So, I did it for him because my arms were fine.
How do you ask?
Because I was smart enough, to mount my weapon to my C7™ Hawkeye Quick Release Single Point Sling.
The sling allows my shoulders to carry the weight and not my arms.
