Put ACTION into your activism!
If you're having trouble viewing this email, you can see it online.

You can't call yourself an activist if you're not doing anything! And what better time to start than Election 2024?!?

If you think the November Election is where it's at, think again

The Primary Election in March is WAY more significant in Texas than the November General Election, because that's when we choose who will be on that November ballot.  We must put in work NOW!

That's why True Texas Project is calling for a DAY OF ACTION. All across the state we are asking you to take a couple hours to help a campaign on Saturday, Jan 27.  There are sooooo many benefits to doing that...

        • influence elections - that's a big part of why we exist!
        • knock out a lot of work for the candidate who has stepped up to the monstrous task of running for office
        • bond with fellow activists (so key to maintaining our enthusiasm!)
        • build relationship with your future elected representatives
        • have fun while working!
        • Plus, when we share the pics, hopefully it encourages others to do the same.

How it works...

Each satellite has partnered with one or more candidates to coordinate a group blockwalk and/or phone banking event.

Blockwalks:  Meet at a local campaign office for a TTP-endorsed candidate; receive talking points and a walk list; obtain push cards and TTP voter guides; distribute literature door to door.

Phonebanks:  Meet at a local campaign office for a TTP-endorsed candidate; receive a script and a call list; make your calls and/or texts and point people to our online voting guide.

Candidates will provide snacks and waters, and we’ll be taking group pictures to share on social media.

No TTP satellite group near you?  No worries!  Pick your own candidate to volunteer for, or contact [email protected] for a printout and walklist for YOUR precinct/neighborhood.

Remember, all of our TTP voting recommendations can be found here.  And each satellite location has its own printable list that you can take to the polls.  They print 2 to a page, so keep one for yourself, and share one with a neighbor!  Better yet... print a bunch and cover your whole neighborhood.  We can get you a list of addresses near you that vote in the GOP Primary.  Just ask!
