John, this race is shaping up to be the most competitive and expensive in the entire country. And as a Black woman running for Senate, I’m facing one of the hardest glass ceilings that exists right now. 

But you know what? Whenever someone tries to tell me that a Black woman, with all the experience I bring to the table, can't make history – I just smile and say, "Watch me."
