Friends,
At last weekend's Democratic Primary Debate, I promised the American people that if elected, I will nominate an African-American woman to the Supreme Court.
It's time to shatter this glass ceiling, and make the court more representative of the nation that they serve.
The future of the Supreme Court is on the line in 2020. And given my recent announcement, I would really appreciate having your thoughts on the court and its future. Can you take our quick Supreme Court survey today?

Look, I take Supreme Court nominations very seriously.
That's why in 1987 when I was the chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee, I recommended that the Senate reject Robert Bork's nomination to the Supreme Court. Bork's interpretation of our Constitution was downright dangerous, and I'm proud that I did my part to keep him off the Supreme Court.
Now, Donald Trump's Administration has filled our judiciary system with far-right ideologues from the Supreme Court on down, making the stakes of this election that much greater.
So I need your input. Please take my survey today and share your thoughts on the Supreme Court:
